Here we go with the new adventures of NEWPOM or POMTOO.

ErmaGerd sent me the lovely NEWPOM. In a box from the CYTEST teeny tiny shoes

...by which I mean 'CUTEST' of course

Sadly, when POMTOO climbed out of the box, it was clear that a TERRIBLE accident had befallen our snack-themed friend

POMTOO was vague about the details, but one can only surmise that the injury had something to do with POMTOO's long absence from the various bosoms of his MumsNet friends.

Luckily, at NorksTowers, a similar, but fatal accident had befallen 'SaintedBear' at the jaws of a Yorkshire terrier

'SaintedBear' had, though, had the foresight and generosity to leave in his wallet a 'limb donor card'.
This allowed any or all of his limbs and stuffing to be used to help others in the event of his being marmalised.
His stuffing helped a snail to take shape (see profile), but his leg was to go on to an even greater purpose.

After an operation lasting over 17 minutes, POMTOO was able to start physioBEARarapy, using a NEW LEG.

packing up POMTOO's OFRS is a job to be left for POMTOO's next, and most appropriate host PomBearwithanOFRS

So, there we are, a happy ending. Or perhaps that should be a happy beginning, as POMTOO starts a new series of adventures.

Glad POMTOO arrived safely. Please take care the donor leg doesn't drop off. It was a tricky transplant, and POMTOO needs to be kept away from all terriers

Pom bewar died ? Am glad I was able to share in his brief but exciting life, our time together meant so much!

he has gone to stay with PombearwithanOFRS. I think the plan is to keep the blog going, although I must say this picture thingy is great!
