Colour-run disaster - please help - what can I do?

(4 Posts)
I used the Dr Beckmann colour run remover (which was all there was in Tesco) on my ruined slip (sob) and it was useless. The packet said 'heavy discolouration may require a second treatment'. But the first treatment doesn't seem to have had any impact on the discolouration, so I'm not sure if there's any point in repeating, but will try. I couldn't get straight out yesterday as DS fell asleep - maybe the several hour delay was 'fatal'.

Wait for the remover stuff.
I put a beige silk slip in with some darker items and it has come out with horrendous greeny marks all over it, disaster

What should I do? It's only just happened.

I don't have any colour-run remover in the house, should I go out and get some or just wash asap by treating with vanish spray?

Not sure what's best to do?

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
