Try a bicarb of soda solution. It neutralises smells.

Not sure, but make it fairly strong. Bicarb and warm water.

Try disolving biological washing powder in hot water.
sprinkle bicarb over it and then use soapy sponge if you leave bicarb on its own it draws out the smell and then rinse it with soapy water do again if needed
leave it for few mins before rinsing lets it absorb the wee
That will only work if the wee is still wet.

hang on confused, the wee is dry, from few days ago, what will or wont work?
I'd say the bicarb solution. If the wee had been freshly done, then sprinkling dry bicarb on it would draw it out, along with the smell.

it doesnt work!! Have also tried 1001 just now. There must be something else??
You need to soak the patch of carpet in the solution, then draw out the water again. I put a towel over it and walk on it till the towel is wet, the repeat till the carpet is as dry as you can get it.

I had a terrible smell(?cat's pee) in a carpet once in rented house. Tried lots of products, none worked, but sodium bicarb did. Happened to be watching that programme with the 2 cleaning ladies on and they suggested it. Sprinkled carpet with equal quantities of DRY sodium bicarbonate and salt. Can't remember exactly how long I left it - I think it was 15-30mins, then hoovered up. I used liberal quantities. Worked a treat.

Hi Mad4myboys
Why not try some form of deodoriser. There are some carpet deodorisers on the market.
Try this link -

Hope this helps
Regards

if the wee has soaked through to the underlay it will be evn more difficult to remove
