Ds has just done a lovely drawing with Dd's cheap felt tip pens. Unfortunately he got some on the table and even Mr Muscle won't touch it. Are Crayola felt tips any easier to remove? Any suggestions on current art work or have I just got to wait until it fades?

Crayola felt tips have washable ones and we have managed to wash them out of everything DD2 has managed to smear them over- only thin is that if the pen on hands gets wet at all it comes off on everything but then it does wipe off whatever it travels on to next - although don't know about new sofa on the way
yet!
What kind of table is it on?

What material is the table?
if its a wooden table, then i would imagine any type of felt tip pen would stain it.
I have no idea on how to remove it.
maybe a table cover would be better in the future, rather than trying to clean up accidents.
On this subject, anyone have any idea how to get biro pen off of a dolls face? Baby Annabel type doll.
Have had some great success with hairspray on felt tips and Biro on tables, and on a padded Headboard too!

maybe one of those ink erasers?
I doubt you will get it off properly though. It's quite absorbant material. DDs favourite doll has blue felt tip scribbles all over its face.
Thanks 4 the reply's. It's a children's wooden but wipable table, can't remember what it's called.

Spray with a generous amount of hairspray, it really works, you can see it dissolve before your eyes.
Sawyer54, this will also dramatically fade the biro on the dolls face at the very least.
Thanks, will buy some tomorrow.

Ooops sawyer, sorry, see you already tried that
strange, it has worked on dolls faces for me before, was just left with the indent of the pen marks
Its Biro on the dolls face, probably works with felt tips.it did fade slightly though.
Thanks for adding 10 years to my age

Hi all,
Has anybody found a good way to remove cheap felt pens from fingers without removing the skin at the same time?
