I am six months post baby and back to my old weight - thereabouts

But I am sick of a lot of my old clothes. Also my style has changed really

But I have the equivalent of three black bags of clothes (cleared out two already) and have packed away maternity and list maternity clothes

So the plan is to try on EVERTHING again before I am back to work next week. Dump, donate, sell (not bothering with ebay but there is a local secondand shop that gladly buys stuff)

Anyone else? I just want a capsule wardrobe with a few extras

Currently I am keeping a few dressy coats, two or three sports jackets, blazers

Four pairs trousers one jeans

Sports wear

Three dresses plus a few put away that are special occassion

Couple of wraps/capes (wear these a lot)

Few shirts and about ten to fifteen tops

One pencil skirt and few going out tops

Can you give me permission to get rid of the rest ?? grin

I give you permission! I need to do the same myself.

I need to do same. I have been waiting for DD to get on the bottle so I can be nursing free

I've just done this. My wardrobe is now spotless. Everything is über organised. Even my socks and knickers are folded with military precision.

The trouble is, I now barely have anything left. I suppose I wasn't wearing any of the clothes that have been donated or chucked, but they made me feel like I had clothes. Now it's slightly scary when I open the doors to see, well, not very much.

Half the clothes were too big or bought in desperation so I didn't like them. I'm feeling much more confident about what I like and by own style these days.

Once I get past the scary bit, it's actually quite liberating. It makes getting ready in the morning a hundred times easier and quicker and I'm quite looking forward to taking my time choosing new things.

I still have a bin bag of really good clothes that I'm considering selling and the drawers in the spare room need sorting. There's a lot of clothes that went in there the last time I had a sort out and they haven't been touched since so think they can all go.
