Disaster has struck and my lovely Dualit kettle shaped kettle has died...

Any recommendations for something sturdy but pretty with a water gauge visible?

I don't need to use it on a hob and struggle to lift Le Creuset type pans.

It would be nice not to be polishing the water marks from it all the time.

Budget isn't a factor.

Or do I buy the same kettle again?

If you loved the old one, just get the same again. smile

I was about to say "Don't buy a Dualit" - it's the most expensive kettle I've ever bough but lasted the shortest amount of time (about a year)

Just had a thread on this and apparently Kitchenaid is wonderful. ££££ though.

Ah, thanks...I think I saw the thread - the Kitchen Aid one was lovely too and might save the water marks issue.

As it goes the last Dualit did us for 6 years with approx 10 boilings a day (tea/cooking) so it wasn't too bad - maybe the quality has dropped?

I'm eyeing a 6 slice toaster so maybe I'm headed back to Dualit then...
