How do you prevent or get rid of static electricity from tumble dried (mainly) clothes? There's even static in 100% cotton clothes which I didn't think could happen!

Put a scrunched up price of tin foil in with your clothes, a strip around a foot long will do.

Tin foil in the dryer, you mean?

I always get static shocks hmm

Yes. Just tear a strip of tin foil off the roll, scrunch it up a bit and put it in the drum of the dryer with your wet clothes. Let the dryer run as per usual. You'll notice no static. I think the tin foil captures it (or something!).

I always get static shocks too... There are some lifts that I always have to use my wallet to press the button! We don't have a tumble dryer though sad
