Hi,
We are about to get a new toilet fitted. I am sick to death of cleaning everyone elses poo off our current toilets which just don't seem to flush properly (even though one of them is quite new). I know its gross but I really want one that will actually clean the bowl a bit rather than just flushing it away. Anyone recommend one - its not something you can find out about until its too late otherwise!
Thanks,
Sorry for grossness.
Whizzylala.

I'd like to know too. Ours is newish and has the wimpiest flush ever. I have to warn visitors to put no more than two pieces of loo roll at a time in the loo or else it blocks up and I have to get out a coat hanger..

All new loos are crap (no pun intended) at flushing as it's the new regulations which require less water to be used therefore smaller cistern and dual flushing to reduce water usage further. This can cause particular problems if you have any turns/angle before the soil pipe as there isn't enough force to get everything away. You can make minor adjustment to improve the water level in some loos &
Pigletjohn might be able to recommend a good one.
However, unless you have an older loo I think you are doomed to a wimpy flush.
We just use the big flush ALL the time which definitely helps totally defeating the water saving object but it's the most annoying thing about having a new bathroom.

I would avoid the ones with two little press-buttons on the cistern lid, they are a bit troublesome.

Best stockpile bog brushes then. God, it is so annoying. Have already given up on the two button flush and gone back to a handle.
Thanks!
