does anybody know how to get the yellow deoderant stains out of white tops?

I'd like to extend the life of some of my tops?

TIA smile

I have heard, but never tried it as we never get stains, that a paste of crushed aspirin and water rubbed in an left to work, will remove the stains. Longer term just change your deodorant grin

I don't like those anti stain deoderants. I don't feel as fresh for as long grin

White vinegar? Seems to work on yellow sweat stains

Not much use to you if you are in the UK, but sunlight pretty much bleaches anything......in Italy it will bleach pasta sauce out of a white top!

I've read somewhere that the stuff you can buy to whiten net curtains also works on sweat stains. Might be worth a try? I haven't tried it so don't know if it does work.

Also like LeChatRouge says, hanging the item of clothing outside will help. It doesn't need bright sunshine to bleach whites, just daylight will have an effect.
