With my steamer you still have to scrub to get the dirt out.If it's mud just let it dry and then hoover it on the highest suction. I usually think it'll never come out, but it turns to dust when dry.If my steamer didn't weigh a tonne I'd send it to you. It's OK,, but a faff to use.
I'd like something to spot clean the carpets, one of my cats is awful for muddy foot prints and I was wondering if a hand held steamer was the kind of thing that would lift the mud out of the carpet with out me having to scrub at it.
