I used to run a shoe shop, we used a bog standard pencil eraser!

transparent shoe polish, it also removes sticky stuffs from sticky tape from almost anything. I would guess milk could do it on patent because of the fat... hmm [wondering]

Traditionally, milk was used to clean patent leather, but not tried it myself.

Ive got some cream patent shoes that I wear a lot (I am not Kate Middleton btw!) and they have some black marks on them. Does anyone have any tips on how to remove these marks? TIA!
