I thought it was time for a new Autumnal thread for all slatterns.

This thread is welcome to all who like to write lists or have loads of jobs to get done or if you need a kick up the bum for motivation. Also good for support with relationships, random advice on moths and birthday cakes!

We welcome new slatterns, post your lists here.

Back in a sec with my list.

Morning fellow snowy Slatterns.

We have our first snow of the winter. I know that you mainlanders are probably sick of the sight of it but this is the first for us Ulster folk. Much excitement - that is until I couldnt get out of my driveway for 30 mins and it took an hour to get DD to nursery.

Anyway, Mini - I am liking the use of child labour wink. I am now wondering if there are any small people about who I could pay in sweets to clean my floors?

JKS - what is a portage worker?

CC - hope you are feeling better.

Freakoid - I am somewhat concerned by the use of the word 'exercise' in your list. Methinks that this is a word unknown to slatterns - more information is required.

My list for tonight

Dinner
Tomorrow's bags
Some ironing
Sort a load washing and put on
Tidy bedroom
Kitchen counters
Meal plan
Shopping list or online shop

FreakoidOrganisoid Tue 05-Feb-13 13:08:14

Slattern bf and I are going on holiday at Easter. This combined with me being uncomfortable in all of my clothes led me to embark on a fitness regime at New year. I started off doing the shred but now do 20-40 mins of similar but while watching tv or music channels. I aim to do it every day but usually end up doing it 4 or 5 times a week.

My arms are more toned, my already tiny boobs have shrunk sad but the muffin top remains. I am going to keep going at least til i go away though as I do feel a bit better for it. Still not sure i will be wearing a bikini though!

JKSLtd Tue 05-Feb-13 13:20:57

Freak - my weight loss & stopping bf has totally shrunk my boobs sad Mind you, on the MN bra thread actually I'm a 28D which makes me feel better than the high street 34A/AA I'd be smile
I meant to ask about the divorce letter? sounds scary so well done on doing it.

Slattern - before Sn kids start school a portage worker comes to your house once a week for play therapy & helps the family with forms, school applications, anything really. Ours are particularly fab! and I try to donate any toys we are getting rid of as they lend them out to SN kids all the time.
They also run a playgroup that's brilliant, especially in the school holidays.

JKSLtd Tue 05-Feb-13 15:00:18

Phew, my last cupboard (dresses/skirts/suits) is looking decidedly half-full (/empty) now. I think I'll try to sell some bits on eBay, then give the rest away to MIL's refuge. Not sure how much use her ladies will have for evening dresses though!

Ooh same as me jks. A slatternly bra buddy! Although they are hard to come by so normally wear a 30c

Alibabaandthe40nappies Tue 05-Feb-13 15:04:43

Hello - am being crap again. grin

Freak - have you tried Brastop.com? They have a v.good range of sizes and always have good deals on.

JKSLtd Tue 05-Feb-13 15:10:52

I have such a range of sizes of bras it's ridiculous!
I've been ordering & returning loads recently & got fed up with it all.
I found 2 28Ds from Figleaves that fit, but nothing else.
I'm planning a Bravissimo visit next week when I've got some time in London on my own smile

FreakoidOrganisoid Tue 05-Feb-13 16:47:10

Yes i have ordered from them. In the freya bras i need an e cup <faints>. If you saw how small my boobs were you'd laugh at the thought of me being an e!
