I thought it was time for a new Autumnal thread for all slatterns.

This thread is welcome to all who like to write lists or have loads of jobs to get done or if you need a kick up the bum for motivation. Also good for support with relationships, random advice on moths and birthday cakes!

We welcome new slatterns, post your lists here.

Back in a sec with my list.

Have no idea what i've done.
Got up off sofa, lol.
Seriously though, i went to get up the other day and it felt sore.
By the end of today i was limping sad

More wine and some painkillers (shh!) and it isn't as bad...

SlatternismyMiddlename Sat 26-Jan-13 22:06:19

Meal out was good slattern, we went to an all you can eat place (za za bazaar if you fancy googling) so were both stuffed. Bf more than me, he thought he was going to be sick whereas I just ate til I was full! So much for romance! We had planned to have a couple of drinks after dinner but had no room. Went back to his house and started to watch a film but I fell asleep. Watched it last night instead.

Am in a bit of a cba mood today blush So far have
watched tennis
put new side table in position (bf got it off the back of a lorry through work and I have nabbed it
Hoovered downstairs
Online food shop
ordered a couple of bikinis to try for holiday

Bonsiour.

Clearly we are all doing too much running around thus inflicting injuries on ourselves. This must stop, as a (sort of) qualified health and safety person I must insist, ney demand, that everybody steps away from their lists and installs themselves on the settee with a beverage of choice (and a packet of biccies). Normal service of list making and list doing can resume after a reasonable rest period. (24/48/72 hours later, insert as you wish).

Freakoid I'm glad to hear you had a lovely dinner. I do vaguely recall my first year anniversary, back then I had time and energy on my side.

Hope your meeting went well cikecaka.

JKS I too am counting the days until nursery starts in September - my baby will be my baby no more sad.

FreakoidOrganisoid Mon 28-Jan-13 18:55:21

grin slattern. I must admit it is very different dating when you are already a parent. None of that staying up all night talking/bonking for me thanks, bed is for sleeping wink

SlatternismyMiddlename Mon 28-Jan-13 19:12:31

Freakoid smile

JKSLtd Mon 28-Jan-13 20:54:35

Slattern- I know, what will we do??? I do still, mostly want DC4, then other days my realistic/practical head wins and I know it's crazy. But will this really be the end of my baby days? sad

Hi everyone!

I really need to come back to this thread. DH was out of contract for 6 weeks over Christmas/January and we all got out of routine. Now that he is back at work and the snow days are over so DS1 is at school I need to get my act together.

I'm in chaos this morning so need to do 15 minutes to get organised

- change DS2
- put sheets on to wash and sort out the next load
- clear up kitchen
- fill in form for DS1's school trip

Alibabaandthe40nappies Tue 29-Jan-13 11:56:22

DONE
- change DS2
- clear up kitchen
- fill in form for DS1's school trip
- re-spin previous washing because it was still soaking
- get lunch on
- some tidying upstairs

TO DO
- put sheets on to wash and sort out the next load
- have lunch, clear up and run DW
- story for DS2 then nap (hopefully, he is showing signs of dropping it...)
- kitchen worktop AoD
- swap washing again
- more tidying
- get into together for tax return - cutting this very fine!
