But rather than a one a day baby step, we do a two a day one.

I need to get back on top of things, plus I will be on my own for the first time in over 5 years.

Hello

I've not done Fly before, I get the theory, but i've never gone further than cleaning my sink grin

Can I join you?

OmicronPersei8 Sat 04-Sep-10 01:43:26

I'd love to join you too - my house looks like someone's turned it upside down and shaken it. I've started before but think I need the support to see it through (although I do always have a lovely sink).

TeaMonster Sat 04-Sep-10 01:43:38

I am up for everyone joining me - the more the merrier!

TeaMonster Sun 05-Sep-10 10:29:27

Come on - are there any more people up for this, lets make sure we shine our sink tonight, so we dont have to eorry about it tomorrow

Babysamrocks Sun 05-Sep-10 11:28:14

TeaMonster Mon 06-Sep-10 09:17:01

Morning all

I will be mainly following round DH who has the day off (boys first day back at school and Mini's first day ever) who will be decorating the kitchen!

OmicronPersei8 Mon 06-Sep-10 14:47:33

Hello all, I've still got the DC at home as DD doesn't start Reception for another few weeks, DS had his first morning at nursery today (tearful but ok_.

I'm going to go wash up and do my sink now - it doesn't help that my boiler has packed up, but nothing a boiled kettle won't solve.

I remember from starting fly before that getting rid of my drying rack helped, as did the ecover limescale remover. And a drying cloth I keep by the sink just for polishing purposes!

swanriver Mon 06-Sep-10 16:43:17

TM - you are here! I think I misdirected someone.

hope your day went well.

Going to tackle the homework now [sigh]

tisonlyme Mon 06-Sep-10 16:55:00

Mine hasn't gone to plan
I believe i meant to put wm on - didn't happen

And i will be doing lots of work tonight!!

Going to cook tea now

swanriver Mon 06-Sep-10 17:39:48

and blitz upstairs basin until potatoes cooked

tisonlyme Mon 06-Sep-10 20:37:38

now am going to
wash up and shine sink
Put some clothes away

then tuck myself up in bed and read.

All of you out there - remember to shine your sink!!!

Hello

I'm trying to remember what I've actually done today - its been a busy one. confused
I didn't read what I was supposed to do last night so only really started this morning.I always get dressed to lace up shoes - if I don't slap on the war paint people think I'm dying!

Last night I laid out the breakfast for everyone, I need to have a smooth start to the day

Once dd1 and 2 were at school I tackled the girls bedrooms, tidied all the toys away, put away 1 basket of washing for each of them, changed their beds (did boys yesterday so all now done) and all 4 kids towels.

Cleared landing of all random clutter,

Picked up all toys in lounge and put them in the lounge toybox ( some of them should be upstairs hmm)

Brummed cars with ds1 and 2 for a bit made lunch, cleared it away, put through 2 washloads, collected girls from school, bathed all the kids, cooked dinner, loaded dishwasher, rediscovered kitchen counter, filled all breakfast bowls for the morning and put on sideboard in d/room, washed out and refilled all 6 water bottles, made dd1s lunch.

replied to all letters in bookbags, and binned, filed and replied to the ones that came thru the door.

I have a scary to do list ...

Pile of papers to be dealt with in d/room. large pile of stuff to ebay.

Approx 8 washloads behind atm, I have to do 2 / 3 each day and I've gotten a bit behind.

Our bedroom hasn't been hoovered / dusted for 2 months blush and there are already 3 washloads piled in there to be put away.

Haven't cleaned bathroom for a week and the boys shared room is a shrine to a tent currently filled with train track, and lots of things were spread out across whats left of the floor (I've shoved it all to one side for bedtime blush)

Just need to switch on the dishwasher fridge the boiled eggs and I can go to bed........

Please feel free to ignore my posts in future - blush

swanriver Mon 06-Sep-10 23:28:20

Have done what I set out to do!
avoiding ironing pile though, hopefully we'll wear it before it gets ironed grin
