I have applied for so many administration jobs ovet the last 2 weeks, today I ahve a telephone interview at 1.00pm and I have no idea who/what it is for!!

Should I:

A) Not answer telephone
B) Answer telephone and bluff way through interview in the hope that he tells me who he is when he calls?
C) Tell him the truth as soon as he answer and risk him finding out how stupid I really am???

B. He'll tell you who he is when you pick up the phone.

Can you get someone else to be there and answer the phone for you and ask "who's calling?", "what's it in connection with"?

good luck!

I would come clean if he doesn't tell you who he is btw.

Hmmm only other person here is ds2 and his speaking is not good atm

I shall try to have another look through jobcentreplus pages and see if I can see it. I think I may know (kindof - possibly) what it may be for.

I am not expecting too much as, as I said before ds2 is here and he is NOT good when I am on the telephone, although I have informed MrJobMan that there will be a little bit of background noise!

I am waiting to hear from another 4 jobs so must get used to the whole interview techniques again......

He finally called just after 4pm..

It is working for a company nwho sends out leaflets for schools on safety issues and things.

Job involves calling around HT asking if they would like a copy. 9am-3pm...

Sounds great but may be a problem with DS2, as I said he is very loud, although I may consider it as he is starting nursery very soon..

Will find out tomorrow for definate, will be fine either way. I have applied for another as admin position 2 nights per week 5.15pm-9.15pm and would quite like it as I can get out the house for a while.
