I've been a sahm for a while, and took up piano as a hobby. I love it, and, in the absence of much in the way of job opportunities for an old gimmer like myself, thought I could make a living out of teaching it. I've been doing it unofficially for a while, but now I'd really like to go for it. I'm terrified though, as I'm not sure I have what it takes.
I've got two grade 8s (theory and practical), a teaching qualification (not music), and I'm taking a diploma in November. I'm happy to do anything else it takes.
Anyone out there who 'd like to share how they got into teaching piano? Thanks.
