Companies that treat people returning after mat leave well...

Not quite TAAT but I know a lot of people are treated pretty shoddily when they go back to work after mat leave.

However, would it be possible to name and praise the companies that are really supportive?

I'd quite like to vote with my wallet and support these businesses in my own little way.

Anyone else?

I don't know what you mean tbh - but I'd say no probs with civil service and local government.

So visit your library with pride Grin

My company (which gets slated A LOT in the press) were brilliant. A lot depends on your manager I guess.

Not outing myself by telling who I work for though.

I'd love to tell you about my company, but I'd take another leap forward in outing myself.

My company were brilliant, I had phased return over several weeks, working 2 hours a day working back up to FT, they then agreed to my flexible working application without a flicker, I still work those hours 12 years later even though I've been promoted in that time. Maternity leave is over and above legal requirements and time off for appointments is given without question. There's loads to say as as an employer they're very good, one of the "Times top 25 best places to work" for several years now.
