Work

People always want cleaners, yes?

How do I become a self employed cleaner? I don't want to work for a cleaning company, but wouldn't mind working directly for the person I am cleaning for.

And (sadly) I will make more money as an amature but willing cleaner than as an experianced care assistant.

Round here people just put up ads in the post office either offering cleaning services or asking for them. I don't know if people would let you be a key holder unless you had correct insurance or they knew you but people who are at home anyway might employ you - and then if you are any good I'm sure your phone number would be passed around and you could build up that way.
