First day survival kit...any thoughts?

A colleague (and friend) is returning to work shortly after having her first DC and was thinking of putting together a survival kit for the first week.

Any ideas (other than tissues Wink ) to put in? Not looking to spend too much ££ but want it to be thoughtful.

Yea I like the idea of a frame to put a picture of DC in. Also a card that everyone has signed saying they're pleaded she's back. I felt very unwelcome when I returned Hmm

I agree that making he person feel welcome is key. Card is nice. Maybe flowers for her desk. Also, make sure any crap that landed on her desk while she was out is gone - random files etc.

What about vouchers for coffee? If you have a local coffee shop so she can get her morning brew free for a week.

The wifi password so she can Skype home! Grin

Like the photo frame idea Smile am thinking chocolate aswell.

Card is a good idea. I know she struggled when she came in for her KIT days as everyone was busy doing their own thing and she felt a bit like a spare part so I don't want her to feel like that again!

Card for coffee shop etc sounds great. I think that would help me get back into 'work' frame of mind. You are very lovely!
