Hi ivet83, I am a stay at home mum and I am self employed have been for 8 years. I am an administrator but also do secretarial, telesales, admin and book keeping services. I live in small village and I have covered sick leave in a local estate agent and charged them by hour with invoice. What are you skils ?

If you have a degree you could try AQA.

They pay to to answer questions from your PC.

Long shot but how about OU tutoring. I know very little about this but think you basically just need a degree? I'll be looking into this when the kids are a bit older.

Otherwise-exam marking?

ivet - having read both your entries here and over on cm thread - i think you should start by investigating teaching english language to foreign students - its what you know, sound like this is what you enjoy etc and would be a big motivation for you to want to continue.

you could also offer your services at teaching your native tongue to us brits - am sure you might get some work as some many brits go out to bulgaria nowadays.

what about translation work? - bulgarian to english?

to lexiemum-thank you for your message.as you can all see i am so confused.i want to stay home with my child but do smth i would enjoy.to be honest i have studied english since i remember myself and i enjoyed since i was little.may i should look into it properly.found 1 website where they employ you to work as this from home but the person who you teach needs to live at my house which doesn't sound good to me.maybe if i do it i should advertise privately?what do you think?

Ivet, however good yr English is, you're likely to come across some difficulty with schools/students. Many students want the "authentic" English experience, by that they mean native speaker teachers; most good language schools/colleges will also insist on having native speakers. If you target students from yr own country yr background should then be seen as an advantage or as you say you could go private.
There are lots of schools out there, depending on the area where you live, there might well be some work for teaching students living in someone else's home.
Hope that helps.
