Anyone working in HR?

I'm considering a career change and interested in finding out more about working in HR.

Would be really great to hear from anyone in this field.

I have looked at various evening courses that would offer basic level certification in HR. would this be a good starting point?

With entry level training, would it be possible to get a junior position and then get further training or certification on the job?
