Hello,
I work for a small IT company in Wimbledon and we are looking into hiring a p/t marketing manager that would suit a working mum. Around 2 to 3 days per week.
Does anyone have any advice on this, for example is it best to go down the contractor or permanent contract route, would working hours to suit school drop off and pick up put us in a better position for more applicants etc etc.
Thank you for the feedback and I feel this would be a great fit for someone looking to return to work with hours to suit.
Thanks,
Martin

I'd say asking colleagues and business contacts for recommendations for candidates may be an idea first. Obviously that hopefully gets someone recommended and saves money on recruitment fees. Otherwise there are agencies that specialise in part time roles for ladies such as workingmums.co.uk and are probably worth having a look at.
Alternatively look at someone who is self employed and works for various employers for a more flexible option?
I work part time and starting contracting and was then offered a permanent position.
