Decided I need to earn more money, at the moment I cannot see how if I get a full time job that it will cover nursery fees until our little girl goes to school, and then I will rethink again.
Evening work is the only way forward
Im just starting the ball rolling, and thinking maybe data entry in the City/London something like that
But have noooooo idea where to start
Googled a few job search engines, ie Monster, and they look reallyyyyyyy scccarrrrryyyyyy and so complicated?!
Any ideas?

Have you considered being your own boss and going the direct selling route? I'm a Team Leader for Usborne Books which I find fits in great around my children - I take them with me to toddler groups during the day then do home parties in the evenings (which gets me out of bedtime!). Please let me know if you'd like me to send you an information pack or pm me your list of questions :-) www.usborneonline.org/katiesbooks www.facebook.com/katiebooklady
I work full time in custody. I have been back at work since DD was 3 months old. As much as I obviously would rather not I do find it quite handy for childcare working shifts (earlys, lates and nights). OH works mon-fri 0800-1600 so the only shifts that we really need childcare for are my early shifts which can fall on a weekend so it really works out well.
Shift work is definitely worth looking into!

I too work as my own boss as an Independent Stylist for Stella & Dot. I do quite a few in home "trunk shows" in the evenings as well as coffee morning parties in the daytime. Stella & Dot is a boutique style jewellery line sold by Independent stylists such as myself at in home trunk shows or online. They just launched here this past October and by doing so have brought a fantastic home based "social selling" business model which creates flexible, entrepreneurial opportunities for women. PM me for more information and I can talk you through what being an Independent Stylist involves! Or have a look at my website www.stelladot.co.uk/suziebrown
I hope that helps!

I got a job working evenings as a healthcare assistant and my friend works evenings as a carer, essentially the same thing. So maybe check out your local hospitals/care homes.

Second the health care route - I know someone who works the evening shift behind the desk at the minor injuries unit at the local hospital (she is admin not medical). NHS 24 or whatever they are called also have eve shifts for call handlers but that might not be local to you

I have just started working for Stella & Dot Jewellery (a US company who launched here in October last year) too. I do evening home party's called 'Trunk Shows' and I can do as many or as few as I want. I would thoroughly recommend it, even if you have never sold anything in your life like me! I am the fourth highest sales woman in the UK - OMG. Anyway it may work for you. Let me know if you think it may work and I can give you more details www.stelladot.co.uk/annagriffiths

Another direct selling option is Phoenix Cards, which I have done (and thoroughly enjoyed) for 3 years so far. Take a look at www.phoenix-cards.eu/web/janewatson and send me a message if it appeals.
