Our 14 month old son is off food and has a weird rash on his legs - it started off on Thursday looking like 4 or 5 insect bites in a group, and today, Saturday, is now about 40 over all his legs, but not uniformly - sort of in patches. I have tried the "glass test" and the red disappears.

I would have thought that if it was anything infectious it would be all over his body, and therefore am inclined to think something bit him in the garden.

Any thoughts in the collective e-consiousness?

CP raised spots that usually start either at the neck or the torso. GM flat spots again usually torso. there is a condition called foot & mouth appears the same as CP. VERY infectious but apparantly harmless.

In my experience GM has little affect on eating habits. CP does and foot & mouth definately does as it can spread to the mouth making it uncomfy for child to eat.
