Pregnant belly but not pregnant!

I keep getting this painful bloated stomach that blows up so big that it looks like I am literally about 8 months pregnant. Jeans have to come undone instantly and I have to lie down uncomfortably and let it all hang out.

Its happening now and I have just shown my husband who looked in awe at this belly of mine that has suddenly ballooned to ridiculous proportions and its rock hard.

I have eaten nothing except for a little icecream about 2 hours ago.

Its extremely painful and been getting it frequently lately. Always takes a few hours for it to subside.

I know the obvious seems to be do a big f*@t! (cough) but even that doesnt seem to get rid of it.

Anyone else suffer with this and know of any effective remedies or something I could do now to help.

I have taken to chewing rennies lately and cut out bread, wheat but that hasnt seemed to worked.

follow this step by step:

  1. travel back in time
  2. undo prior pregnancy(ies)
  3. go back to metabolism when you were 18 yrs old
  4. eat whatever you want, and you'll be fine.

    Good luck!

A hot water bottle often helps soothe these things, or a hot bath.

It sounds like it might be IBS or similar - if you could work out what triggered it (dairy? stress?), then it becomes easier to fix.

could it be lactose intolerance? Might account for bloating after icecream.

My tummy looks like that all the time

just have to start liking dark chocolate.

If it might be food intolerance.. perhaps you need to get an allergy test done at the GP
