My 21 mth DS has been straining to push whilst saying "poos" and getting very distressed several times a day for the last 5 days. His face contorts and he writhes about trying to push. This can last about a minute or two, and then might settle for 15 minutes.
He never has a dirty nappy after these incidents but his nappies are completely normal in frequency and form, so he doesnt seem at all constipated.
The other mystery is he only does this when in the car (both mine and DHs which have different car seats). Any ideas what it could be?
