Sore arm after pre-school booster (DTP)

DD1 had this on Wednesday and there is still a red and swollen area at least 2 inches across around the injection site. She seems fine in herself but her arm is obviously very sore. Just wondering if this is normal as she didn't have any reaction at all to her early jabs or to the MMR - any advice?

snap dd has similar on her left leg after preschool booster out of hours gp said it was normal and only to be concerned if she has a temp
