'Leaking' after bath - weird - blush!

Since giving birth 11 months ago, whenever I get out of the bath, I leak a little liquid onto the floor It doesn't feel like I'm peeing - more like the sensation of discharge dripping out - if I try to stop it I can't - but it's very much liquid - could this be bathwater, or am I in fact peeing a little without knowing it?

What goes up must come down. Its probably bath water.

PickasillyChristmasName Tue 14-Dec-04 11:45:09

I do that. I'm sure it's bathwater

I love mumsnet! Where else could I ask this question? Much reassured.

Mine does that since dd2. It's bathwater. Irritating, isn't it? Glad I'm not the only one though! I wonder why.

amynSaintnixmum Tue 14-Dec-04 11:50:12

Yeh that happens for me too - the things we women have to put up with. I always go to the loo now after a bath to avoid wet pants later

Festivepussy Tue 14-Dec-04 12:00:37

LOL..yep bathwater...give it a good shake before you get out!

ThomCatsAreNotJustForXmas Tue 14-Dec-04 12:46:59

This happens to two of my friends as well

SantaFio2 Tue 14-Dec-04 12:49:01

not you then TC?

phatcat Tue 14-Dec-04 12:52:29

me too - the bathwater definitely goes down when I get in these days!! i've found i can encourage it out with a bit of manipulation though (ahem)

spacedonkey Tue 14-Dec-04 12:54:00

Blimey I assumed this happened to everyone, never occurred to me to worry about it. It's a hole, water will go in ... normal, surely?!

ThomCatsAreNotJustForXmas Tue 14-Dec-04 12:56:40

No, not me Fio, you old bag! Honest, I'd say if it happened to me.

sleepdeprived Tue 14-Dec-04 13:00:06

It never happened before DS, spacedonkey, hence the concern - bathwater not a worry, pee would be!

ChristmasBOOZA Tue 14-Dec-04 13:02:17

I'm like you spacedonkey. Considered it a natural occurence.

ThomCatsAreNotJustForXmas Tue 14-Dec-04 13:04:29

Now I feel like the odd one out, it's never gone up mine, well apart from when i went on the deathslide at Waterworld, think that lot of water is still up there!
Why doesn't it happen to me then? Why aren't I normmmmmaaaallllll?

spacedonkey Tue 14-Dec-04 13:05:17

Leaking after the bath is so now

sleepdeprived Tue 14-Dec-04 13:07:30

I've gone from shamefaced to leader of the in-crowd in one easy thread

DoesntChristmasDragOn Tue 14-Dec-04 13:09:41

I blame it on 10lb DS1
