magnesium deficiency

I've just been looking into this as I suspect I may be deficient in magnesium. I'm fairly sure now (having checked the symptoms) but was shocked to read that the majority of people are supposedly deficient too? I just thought it was menstruating women? And it's the most important mineral.
Just thought I'd share this and see if anyone else has looked into it?

Why do you think you are deficient?

But as always when googling you have to be cautious!

hi aloha. It's the twitching (eyes) and I get a few other symptoms too. I once took magnesium for a period and it helped enourmously but I wasn't sure if it was just a coincidence but on reading the symptoms I'm fairly sure. I didn't realise what an important mineral it is though? I'm going to look into it a bit more now and maybe ask the GP her opinion next time I'm there?

You could take a calcium supplement such as Osteocare, which contains magnesium. But you do have to beware of googling!

Apparently too much alcohol can cause it too and I've been burning the candles at both ends a bit lately what with Chrismas dos

I take magnesium every night, it stops me getting cramps.

Yes but get this. I clicked on it as I take magnesium again. And this is an old user name of mine. I started this thread in 2004!

It's definitely helping. I take magnesium with B6, menopace and have started having organic apple cider vinegar with the mother in. Just a little in warm water. I feel so much better.

If you've got a good bottle ofapple cider vinegar, you should see some strand-like sediment floating at the bottom. No, yourvinegarhasn't gone bad—that gunky-looking stuff at the bottom is the most important part! It's called “themother,” and it contains raw enzymes and gut-friendly bacteria that promote healing.
