dd1 cracker her head open yesterday.

its a small ish cut about 1cm long, but very deep. we spent almost 3hours down A+E getting her patched up. she now has steristrips on her forehead. no hair washing for a week as its right on her hairline.
It happened as nursery, so i had to pick her up early, by that time she had stopped crying, and she didnt cry once since, even tho it must've hurt. think she was so brave even when the nurse was sticking the strips on and having to pull the cut together to close it.

she is fine today. told me to be careful putting her top on as it hurts a bit on her head. she has decided to spend the night at grandmas house, and has had a big fuss made of her today.

Poor poppet. Ds2 did the same thing in December last year - he had to have his head glued back together he now has a cool Harry Potter-esque scar in the middle of his forehead. Hope she's feeling better after a bit of TLC at Grandmas's
