Homeopathy while breatfeeding

Does anyone know if there is any problem using any homeopathic remedies while bf? I have a rotten cold with horrid blocked sinuses but I can't use a "normal" decongestant, I've done some internet research on which homeopathic remedies to use but I'm not sure if its OK (Gelsemium).

I have used homoepathy while breastfeeding - my homeopath said there was no problem. I would still call the Society of Homeopaths though just to make sure.

i thought the whole point of homeopathy was that the substance was so diluted that there was nothing of it left in the end product (except it's memory of it), therefore it's completely harmless and free of side-effects

agree with bundle. remember reading that all homeopathic remedies were safe during pg, so would be surprised if they weren't safe for bfing. but no harm in double checking to be on the safe side

im sure too- they are all safe
they have such a minute amount of active ingredient you could give a newborn a whole bottle and it would still be safe

its diluted so weakly that it is almost nothing isnt it- so its sort of minute to nothing i would say
anyway safe and brilliant you just have to make sure you get exactly the right remedy for your symptoms and it should work
