No memory of something I did. Anyone else have this?

I woke up this mornings and checked my Facebook account as I usually do. I had written a post at @11pm last night which I have absolutely no memory of writing! I have wracked my brains and still nothing.
The post was fine, nothing offensive or otherwise unusual but I am worried by the fact that I cannot remember, even vaguely, writing it.
I took my medication as usual at @9.30pm and this includes a sleeping pill called zopiclone. I have taken zopiclone on and off for a long time and never had problems with it. I am worried that I am losing my mind!
I did not have any alcohol last night either and only drink a glass of wine or cider when I do drink - which isn't often.

Zopiclone is a known memory loss drug.

I used to take this and had such bad amnesia.

It's 100% the Zopiclone.

befote i got to the bit where you said it was the zopiclone, i thought inwonder if she's on zopiclone.

When i was taking it i would read before going to sleep, reckon i read the same chapter 50 times.

It's pretty unnerving though. But normal and nothing to worry about.

I would also feel like I'd just shut my eyes when i woke up. Even though i actually felt quite refreshedm Very syrange.

Why are you taking it regularly? Zopiclone is only licensed for short term use. Use it long term, you become tolerant to its good effects and you're just left with the side effects. You will have to see your gp to wean you off slowly though, you will now have developed a dependence.

Yes very true. If Zopiclone is taken over long periods you do just get the side effects.

Nasty drug if you ask me.

It did help me over a very short period of time thankfully.

I actually made beans on toast once in the middle of the night and have 100% NO MEMORY of doing it.
