What is wrong with me - gynae

At the start of this year I started getting bleeding between periods and after sex, after many trips back and forth to the doctors they finally sent me for an ultrasound which came back normal. Problems carried on and I eventually got a colposcopy and cervical biopsy in July, the pain afterwards was agonising. I was hospitalised while they tried to work out what was causing it, on pain relief and two types of antibiotics. All swabs came back clear and another ultrasound showed a small amount of fluid in my pelvis but nothing major. Hospital discharged me and were adamant my problems weren't gynae Hmm Results from the biopsy showed CIN1 which I had removed by LLETZ at the start of October. That all went relatively well, I had a normal period (albeit a little heavier and more painful than usual) around 2 weeks after. A week after my period stopped I started bleeding again, back to hospital, more swabs, all clear. Bled for just over a week with no one having any idea why. All seemed to settle down until this week, period due again and I spent Wednesday with the worst period pains I've ever experienced to the point that I was almost sick with the pain. Period started yesterday morning, pain was manageable until last night when I kept waking up in agony. Been sore on and off today but it's been getting worse again since around 5pm, I've taken paracetamol and ibuprofen which haven't helped at all. Struggling to function and have been in tears with the pain which is also in my lower back now.

I just don't know what to do Sad I'm at home on my own with DS, every time I end up back in the hospital they say they can't find anything wrong with me and discharge me. I'm so fed up and no one seems to be taking me seriously. I just don't know what to do Sad

You have my sympathies, gynae problems are awful.

My first thoughts were that it sounds like endometriosis, which generally can only be properly diagnosed with a laparoscopy. Disclaimer - I'm in no way shape of form medically qualified!

I think you need to go back and at least get some meds to help with the pain
And further investigations to see what's going on.

Thank you for the reply.

It's horrible. The pain has subsided a bit now, I was on cocodamol and diclofenac over the summer but i hate feeling so drowsy and out of it.

My friend had mentioned endo so I think I'll have to go back and ask the GP Sad
