Hello fresco, I'm afraid I don't know anyone who has this, but I know from fundraising posters locally that it's an autoimmune disease that causes muscle weakness, and can affect people in lots of different ways.
Have you been in touch with the Myasthenia Gravis Association, who might be able to put you in touch with other families? How is Cameron doing?

I raised money for Myasthenia Gravis when a student as one of my friends' father had the disease. This link may help youMG UK . My Great Aunt also had the disease and it greatly affected her facial muscles. I know that it's far more controllable these days than it wasw 20 years ago when I first came into contact with MG. I'm sure if you contact the UK branch they will put you in touch with a support group, probably even locally.
