Period 6 days late

Well the obvious is that I'm pregnant, except I'm not as I've taken 3 different tests and all negative. I've taken an internet cheapie, clear blue digital and a first response so definitely definitely believe I'm not pregnant. (Am trying though which is why this is so frustrating)

I know people say it all the time, but I'm very regular, always a 30 day cycle and even start at the same time of day. I really confused why I'm so late. This has never happened before. I had a chemical pregnancy a few months ago but everything went straight back to normal afterwards.

Any ideas?

It's probably late ovulation, and if its not that it may be a phantom pregnancy (where you have all the symptoms and eventually grow to think you're pregnant) OR, you're pregnant and you're not far enough along for a pregnancy test to pick it up. I wouldn't be concerned. try another test in about 4 weeks

Oh no don't like the sound of a phantom pregnancy! I haven't had any symptoms though. I didn't even know that was a real thing.

You may want to see if you can be checked, because an ultrasound will show what a pregnancy test wont, so its entirely possible you're just very early into pregnancy. Btw you're the only person who ever responds to what i say :)

I was always 28 days then out of nowhere I had a 50 day cycle and since then I have had 23-38 day cycles. They couldn't find any reason for the 50 day cycle.

Did you take any medicine this month? That sometimes puts things out of kilter

your body can change over time, maybe you wont' be so regular in future.

b4 MN, I had no idea that many women were so... tied into what their cycles are like.

No medication or anything else I can think of. Groove, waiting 50 days would drive me crazy! It's the not knowing. Hopefully it will come along soon.

Yeah they did bloods as I kept getting negative pregnancy tests. Then one day it just arrived. None of the usual signs or anything.

So did you go from really regular to now having irregular peruods if you don't mind me asking? I really hope that's not going to be the case with me.

Yes. Even after I had my kids they were every 28 days apart from the twice I was pregnant and missed my period.

Now they are everywhere. Have been loosing so much blood my iron is very affected as they are so heavy but vary month to month length wise. Have started the mini pill to try and get my iron back up.

Sounds awful Sad sorry you're having to deal with this. Can your gp not do anything to help? Hopefully the mini pill will sort you out.

I'm now under gynae to try and sort my periods out. If I can sort them out, hopefully then my iron will rise with the iron supplements.

I'm glad you are getting some help. Fingers crossed for you that your iron levels rise too!

So I'm 8 days late now. Had really bad cramps last night. Even though i don't normally get period pains/cramps, I thought I'd start this morning but I haven't.
