homeopathy for emotional wellbeing?

Has anyone tried homeopathy for depression? I have had PND in the past and certainly wouldn't say that I am depressed now, but I do feel down at times and just have a general feeling of dissatisfaction with everything. I lack the motivation to try and change the things I need to. I need something to buck me up and get me positive. Can anyone suggest anything?! Apart from a good slug of red wine obviously, I am already pretty good at that!

Used it with ds1 (then just under 3) after the birth of his brother. he's autistic- regressed terribly and was definitely depressed. We were all extremely worried about him. I used it as a desperate attempt (didn't really believe in it at the time). The effect it had on him was so incredible (and instant) that I signed up on a practitioner course. Instant convert.

I self prescribed him- but got very very lucky with the remedy I chose. I would definitely recommend seeing a homeopath. Dh used to get bad panic attacks and it keeps those at bay. Where are you? I may be able to recommend a good homeopath.

Thanks, I'm in Nottingham and I've found what I think to be a good homeopath that I have been taking DD to, to help with a bad cough/yucky phlegm thing that she has. If you know of anyone in Notts then I would welcome your recommendations.

ah sorry no, I'm in Devon. I'd definitely give it a go, can't do any harm anyway.

I went recently as I was pretty exhausted and had no energy (wasn't down- just knackered) and it made a real difference to me.

Mummysurfer if you type Society of Homoeopaths into google it will give you the register for them. I don't know the exact address to do a link. Good luck!
