Worried. Abnormal cells found?

Hi everyone. I am 37 years old and go for regular smear tests every 3 years. I went for one about two weeks ago and high grade moderate abnormal cells were found. I am waiting to get and appointment for a coloscopy. I am very worried. I have two children and a granddaughter on the way and worry i won't be around to watch her grow up. Any reassuring stories?? Thank you

I know this is an old post but how did you get on. I've just had the same smear result and am waiting my biopsy results.
