Referred pain?

I have coccydynia I think, I'm getting my first injection into the area on Thursday after nearly 2 years of on and off agony after s fall down stairs. The consultant thinks it's coming from the saccrococogeal ligaments.

Anyway I wondered if anyone else had had this and he referred pain? This flare up has been going on a couple of weeks now (normal) but since this started I've had on and off pain in my Left shoulder. I'm wondering if it's related or could it just be strain from carrying kids etc?

If you're in pain you tend to carry yourself differently to try and avoid it and that throws off everything else. It could just be that. I'd ask on Thursday.
