What is wrong with me?

I posted about my asthma a while ago well some of the symptoms I can't shake. I ended up in hospital with asthma attack last week, since then I've been Put on a 5 day course of steroids and new green inhaler to go with my brown and blue and got to measure my peak flow. I have a tightness in my chest whenever I take a deep breath, this has been there for weeks and weeks. Nothing is helping, my peak flow reading the highest I've managed so far is 320. Why isn't anything working? Don't get me wrong I do feel better but not 100% I thought the tightness would go but it hasn't what happens now? Along with this I've been getting near constant tingling in hands and toes (bloods taken not heard back but assume fine) and intense pain on and off by my kidneys (but only since taking the steroids) will I ever feel myself again, or is this the asthma life and I have to lump it? Diagnosed in Feb.
