Bloating from lap

So a week ago today I had sterislation via lap. No more pain but I am still really bloated. I am restricted on what clothes I can wear despite the fact they were not tight in the first place. Any ideas on when this should go?

Seems to be taking a while to go. Get a GP appointment just to get checked? Is it definitely bloating or could it be swelling (either just from the healing tissue or maybe water retention?)?

For bloating, peppermint tea or peppermint capsules can help. Also, how mobile are you at the moment? Generally speaking - assuming you are generally well and fit - mobility aids recovery and dispersal of trapped air/fluids.
