I have hypertension which is uncontrolled despite 2 medications.
I have an somewhat unhelpful GP service where I see someone different every time, so getting a continuity approach is a challenge.
I have a question about the difference posture has on blood pressure. I can't get a straight answer from my GP.
Mine is high (150/105 average, sometimes higher, sometimes bit lower but bottom number never under 100) when I am sitting but drops to normal (136/87) when I am lying down.
Is that normal because I understood blood pressure drops when sitting or standing?
I am confused
Am I wrong about this?
