Chest pain

For the past month or so I've been getting these weird pains in my chest. I don't get them every day but I've been getting them around 3-4 times a week.

I don't really know how to describe it - it's like a weird twinge that usually starts in the middle of my chest and sometimes the pain spreads down my arms. Usually it stays in my chest though. It's not continuous pain either. I might get it but then it might go away after a few minutes but then come back again an hour later.

I didn't experience any chest pain today however my heart did start beating really fast for a bit at one point and I had to sit down.

I will be making a GP appointment tomorrow but not sure if this is something I should be really worried about. I am getting a bit concerned now.

It's a good idea to get it checked out but hopefully it will be something that canbe dealt with such as heart burn or stress. Good luck
