What natural products do you use and swear by?

After reading about the Johnson & Johnson possible cancers link it's been a wake up call about the products that I'm putting my and my son's skin and I'm now motivated to buy alternatives, what can anyone suggest? Deodorants? Shampoo? Etc

It's the baby powder that has the cancer link IIRC

Same for all talc powders I think.

Twinkie1 Johnson&johnson products have ingredients in them that are being linked to cancer but I guess so do all the cosmetic and cleaning products in our homes. I'm sure there's many 80 year olds out there that have smothered themselves in products and are fine. I'm just looking for alternatives anyways.

That article is only about the talc. I never used talc on DD anyway. Babies don't need it.

I use Burt's Bees' baby powder which is talc free. Only ever need it for creases, but I also make my 9 year old DD use it instead of ordinary powders for her underarms, groin etc. No J&J products in our house.

Sorry I just saw that you've asked about all products, so I use all Burt's Bees' or Waleda Organic products for baby - shampoo/soap/bum cream etc. And I use Forever Living Ever-Shield Organic deodorant - because its aluminium- free and smells great after hours. When my older DD needs doe that's the one I will be starting her on.

It's just talc! Any brand of talc, btw.

I use weleda, which is the only thing that my DS's skin could tolerate (v severe eczema). Also waitrose baby shampoo (natural one. Utterly clear and fragrance free) is the only type of shampoo that DD can use, as every other thing we've tried makes her head itch (prob psoriasis, like me).
DS cannot use soap at all. Occasionally we use nature baby baby wash (left over from when dd was tiny) if he's really grubby. But tbh, small people don't need products of any kind, other than toothpaste.
For sunscreen we use green people for sensitive skin. Again the only one ds can tolerate, so we all use it. Price is eye watering though!

Deodorants- dd had Biosen, which is aluminium free. But it made her itchy. As did all the lovely ones aimed at pre-teens.
She now has mitchum fragrance free stick which works for her.

I haven't used talc since 1970 when this scare was first publicised. So they decided it was toxic 45 years ago and then went back to selling the same stuff ?

You don't need talc for your groin area. I only ever use it on my feet after swimming.
