I'm in week 4 of a chesty cough/ wheezing/ coughing up thick green gunk... Went to doc around 3 weeks ago and she gave me amoxicillin 500mg X 3 a day for a week and said it was bronchitis / chest infection . Finished whole course. But not feeling much better at all.
I've got two DC, one of 11 months and a 5 yr old. The 11 month old is a terrible sleeper.
I just feel constantly rough with it. Zero energy. Promised to take kids out today - 5 year old needs it!- and already dreading it as have no energy.
Any tips ??
Other facts - am popping various vitamins
Diet is ok but could be better
Drink too much coffee/ caffeine

Anyone got any ideas of what I can do to recover? I've basically felt rough the entire month of March and every day is just a struggle to get through.

I'd go back to the docs, sometimes you need a different antibiotic.
I know loads who have had this strain of flu and it seems to be lingering on
Hope you feel better soon x
