I'm wondering if anyone knows whether it's dangerous to strain in the bathroom with a Bartholin's abscess. I had it medically drained 2 days ago but the catheter fell out. Unfortunately the pain meds have me backed up. Anyone know if I'll cause damage ( other than pain) if I strain?

NjMom, as much as I would love to give all kinds of Sporner advice I think you should contact your health care provider considering it's been medically drained.
My Dp sufferes from perianal abscess,if it's similar then you need advice
