Ds is 2 and for about a week he had a small spot on his chest. The it turned into a blister & I got worried but didn't want to rush to docs so decided to keep an eye on it. Dh said it looked like a cigarette burn but none of us smoke and neither does anyone he has been in contact with the past few weeks. Then I noticed it was spreading & I showed it to my sis who said it looked like ringworm. I haven't got an appointment with the doc yet but MIL said that Dh had excema when he was a child & that ds's spot on his chest look like that. Would it be confined to just the one spot though if it was?

Hope someone can advise, I'd hate to waste my doctors time.

No, it just looks like a patch of dry skin.

FFF, I had psoriasis as an older child, about 13, twice and both times it started with a small red shiny blister/spot which just got bigger and bigger til it was the size of a small plate, wonder if it could be that? I'd go to the docs, its not a waste of time if you are concerned.

Thanks boo I just googled some images & it looks a wee bit like some of the pics of ringworm! I will call and make an appointment on Monday!
