Horrible fungal infection on buttocks that will NOT go

I've had this rash for what seems like forever. It came, it went. I left it. I eventually started using Canestan HC, but it didn't seem to do anything. I've been to the doctor THREE times and each time they decide something different; it is fungal, it isn't, it is. Anyway, long and short of it is that I'm sure it is fungal, but the TRimovate most recently prescribed has not made a bit of difference - if anything it's more inflamed and red. It's also, over the course of the last month, got bigger, gone down the crack and around bikini line.

It's sore at the moment and it's embarrassing to have - I do a lot of sports and I'm worried the sweat is making it worse.

I don't eat a lot of sugar.

Anyway, please - any suggestions?

Hi op have you tried metanium? Its a nappy rash cream that works for pretty much anything, I had blisters all over the crack of my bum due to the meds I was taking and lots of lovely mnetters recommend this to me. Cleared it up in 48 hours ! Well worth a try you will find it in the baby aisle of any supermarket
