Sippy Cup Water

My husband thinks its fine to leave water in a zippy cup for our DD to drink throughout the day. I don't like the idea of stale water and zippy cup plastic (or dribbley water -yuck). - Even though its bottled water (our tap water is not drinkable).

Thoughts???

Is this due to concerns over plastic contamination?

Unless you're solidly feeding stale water that's been sitting in plastic for days the risks of adverse effects are minuscule.

My XH was like this re plastic contamination - he was pretty neurotic.
