When are your tests and do you take your thyroid medication as normal?

Usually tests need to be morning just so they can be sent to the lab same day for testing and I was told to take medication as usual

You should get the test done as early in the morning as you can, fast overnight beforehand and don’t take your meds until afterwards.

If you take thyroxine before your test, and you’re tested at the time it peaks in your blood, your doctor will almost certainly want to reduce your meds, which in most cases is not what you want.

Thanks for replying, though I am still not sure. How long does it take to peak in blood?
