Is it tender? If so it's probably a swollen lymph node. I get them sometimes after shaving prob because it's time to change my razor.

I get them sometimes if feeling just under the weather.

Tends to vanish by the next day.

If you are concerned then you should make an appointment to see your GP/Nurse to double check.

I had one once and it was just a little cyst from an ingrowing hair. The doctor felt it and knew what it was within seconds. It popped a few days later. You know the best thing to do is to get it checked.

Yep, mine is diagnosed as a sebacious cyst, I've had it for years. Several doctors have said it's not worth treating as no pain etc.
Definitely get yours checked though.

I found a huuggee lump in my armpit about 6 years ago.
I was totally freaking out about it, and held off going to the docs for ages because I was so frightened of what he would say.
It turned out to be a massive boil!

I have bad skin anyway, and frequently get big lumps on my neck/chest but just hadn't connected the lumps I got with the one in my pit!

Don't panic, just get it checked, you'd be surprised at the different things it can be. most of them gross

I found one just after xmas. In fat my whole armpit is kind of swollen but its painless. Noticed it when shavng.

I went to GP 3 weeks ago and she referred me to Breast Clinic for an Ultra Sound. I have just been for a mammogram this week and been called to attend breast clinic on 3rd March for results of mammo and to be looked at.

Yesterday I found a smaller slightly tenderish (only just) lumo in my other armpit.

Am pretty terrified and told no one until now as I have been causing those who love me lots of worry with other health problems and investigations. I also think not opening up about it to loved ones is helping me cope and be in denial. I am so sick of hospitals. I had a Thyroid cancer removed last autumn and having another nodule of what remains of my thyroid investigated right now as well. I feel embarrassed that this is now wrong with me a well!! These lumps and bumps tend to be nothing awful most of the time. Am trying to cling on to that.

Please do see your GP - for piece of mind if nothing else. I am trying to be postitive and think once I get the breast clinic trauma done with I can relax knowing its been looked at and checked all going well.

I had one a while ago and totally shit myself panicked .... It was a cyst which went after a short course of anti-biotics .... To be fair I do have health anxiety X

I will go and get it checked as I have a strong family history of breast cancer, just had my first mammogram (I'm 41) because of that and it was fine but will call gp on Monday. Hope you get on ok knickers x
